How to read the results

Monthly price is what each carrier quotes as your month-to-month cost for the benefit, duration, and health tier you chose. Rate class is the underwriting bracket the quote assumes; the carrier nails down the actual class during review. Exam indicates whether a paramedical exam is mandatory, likely, or unneeded; streamlined programs often waive it. A.M. Best shows the carrier's fiscal stability rating.
